Problem: When I click on the internet icon my computer window does not open. (Dial up connections)
Possible Solution:
Click on Start, then on Control Panel. Find Internet options, click on it, then select connections, and change the ticked box from "Never dial a connection" to "Always dial my default connection". Click on Apply, then on OK.
